International Agreements
New Zealand participates
in many international agreements that affect biodiversity protection
and management. International
biodiversity agreements to which New Zealand is a party are identified
below.
Descriptions of the age and status of most of these agreements, including
the date of New Zealand's ratification, are maintained by the Ministry
for the Environment.
